SBI customers can activate International transactions for their ATM Debit card through various online methods. Here are the three methods to enable International usage:
1. Activate SBI International Usage through Mobile Banking:
- Open the SBI YONO lite mobile banking application and go to the Services section.
- Select the “Manage Debit card” option.
- Choose your account and ATM Debit card, then enable International usage and e-commerce (CNP) transactions if you want to use your card for International online payments.
2. Enable SBI International payments through SBI YONO:
- Open and login to SBI YONO and tap on “Request Services.”
- Go to the ATM/Debit Card section and select “Manage Card.”
- Choose your account and ATM card number, then tap on “Manage Usage” and enable International usage and E-commerce transactions.
3. Activate International Transactions by SMS:
- Send an SMS from your registered mobile number in the following format:
- For International transactions: “SWON INTL last 4-digits of your card number” to 092239 66666 (e.g., SWON INTL 6677)
- For E-commerce transactions: “SWON ECOM last 4-digits of your card number” to 092239 66666 (e.g., SWON ECOM 6677)
Please note: Only SBI International Debit cards support International payments; domestic level Debit cards will not work for global transactions. It is essential to activate International usage before using your SBI Debit card for global transactions.
