After registering on GeM Portal, you are required to fill your tax assessment details. Before this, you are a secondary seller in GeM portal. Only after you have filled tax assessment details, you will be changed to a primary seller. Here, we are going to tell you how you can fill your tax details in the gem.gov.in portal online.
How to fill GeM Tax Assessment details online?
To fill tax assessment details in GeM portal, use following steps –
- Go to GeM Login portal and login using your login ID and password.
First of all, you need to open gem.gov.in in your website and then go to GeM Login page. After that, you need to enter your GeM Login id and password to login.
- Go to My Account option.
In the GeM portal dashboard, you have to select the My Account option.
- Click on Tax Assessment option.
There are various options in the left side of the page. You have to select the Tax Assessment link and click on it.
- Go to Income Tax portal and login.
Now, to verify your tax assessment in GeM portal, you are required to go to your Income tax portal profile.
- Open your filed returns and then click on the acknowledgement number.
In the income tax portal, click on View filed return option and then choose income tax returns from the menu. After that, you will see a list of recently filed returns. Click on the acknowledgement number of the return to be assessed.
- Fill the details from ITR form in your GeM Portal tax assessment page.
Enter the details like PAN Number, ITR Type, Assessment Year, Acknowledgement number, Profit and gain details, Schedule B&P – Column E1a, Column E1b and then update and save.
- Now, click on the verify button.
After filling and updating the details, click on the verify button. That is how you can complete your tax assessment in GeM Portal.
