A Belarusian Amateur Climbers Group to Scale 6153m Mount Kangri in May 2015

A 24-member team of Belarusian climbers is planning to scale the 6153 meter high Mount Kangri on May 4-5, 2015. The team includes 12 women. The members include some top business from Belarus, including Chairman of BTB Bank, Vladimir Ivanov, Chairman of Plants Protection Company “Frandesa” Valery Dyment, and Chairman of Intellekt, Sergey Varivoda. The team also includes some doctors, lawyers and three students. The expedition is part of the amateurs’ group project called “Seven Peaks”. The first peak scaled by this group was Elbrus in Europe in 2002.
